Vertical extension with five dwellings on two floors, three on the lower floor and two on the upper floor, on an existing building. The top floor is receded from the facade, allowing for the creation of a terraced area. Rehabilitation of the whole estate included the hall, staircases, courtyards, facade, facilities and the placement of an elevator.
The aim is for the addition to be an extension of the façade rather than simply replicating it. This is followed by the decision of mantaining the same yellowish hue for the facade, allowing the metal frame structure to remain visible and thus display the break between old and new construction.
The lightness and pre-industrialization of the modules was aimed at reducing inconveniences to existing tenants, while also shortening the construction time.
