This project aims to improve vertical circulation inside the office space of the Teixidors Foundation, which is located inside the industrial part of the former “Acondicionamiento Tarrasense”, work of the renowned modernist architect Lluís Muncunill. The nave hosing the Foundation’s current dependencies is divided by several inner floors, originated from different past refurbishment projects, resulting in a set of spaces at different mid-levels making circulation complicated. With this project, the program is aligned with the two main levels, that of the nave and the mezzanine, and a new vertical elevator and staircase core is proposed to facilitate accessible mobility between floors.
